Tipperary County Council advises that a new default speed limit of 60 km per hour for all rural local roads in the Republic of Ireland will come into effect on Friday 7th February 2025. This change, reducing the previous limit of 80 km per hour, aims to enhance road safety for all users.
Applications are invited for suitably qualified persons for the following seasonal temporary positions under the Roads Work Programme 2025:
Temporary Driver/Operator, Grade VI
(must hold a Class C Licence and a current Driver Qualification Card (CPC)).
Weekly Wage Scale: €743.62 - €766.72
The aim of this tree strategy is to ensure that the trees of Clonmel are preserved, new trees are planted and the full tree capital is managed in accordance with good arboriculture practice, with regard to their contribution to the local habitats, amenity and the landscape, for the benefit of both current and future generations.
