Tipperary County Council wishes to advise the public of upcoming changes to its textile recycling service.
Effective from 1st October 2025, Clothes/Textile Bring Banks located at Bottle Bank sites across the county will be gradually removed.
The textile collection service will continue at the following Civic Amenity Sites:
- Wallers Lot, Cashel
- Carrigeen Recycling Centre, Clonmel
- Nenagh Recycling Centre, Nenagh
- Roscrea Recycling Centre, Roscrea
- Donohill Recycling Centre, Tipperary
The service will continue in the usual manner. Items accepted include clean dry and reusable textiles such as clothing, bed linen, towels, curtains, and paired shoes. Items not accepted include soiled textiles, duvets, pillows, and cushions.
These changes are being made in response to market challenges and environmental concerns, and aim to support more sustainable waste management practices.
For further information or queries contact the Environment and Climate Action Section or email customerservices@tipperarycoco.ie
Tipperary County Council appreciate the public's cooperation on this matter.
