National Tree Week, Ireland’s largest annual tree celebration, is proudly organised by the Tree Council of Ireland in partnership with Coillte. This special week running from Sunday 9th to Sunday 16th March invites communities across the Country to come together to appreciate the beauty and crucial importance of Ireland’s trees.
To support this initiative, Coillte has supplied a number of sapling trees to Tipperary County Council for distribution to communities in the County.
If you’re planning a National Tree Week community event and would like to receive trees for planting, please complete the Closing date for submissions is Sunday 2nd March.
Due to the anticipated high demand for Trees allocations will be to the first 100 applicants.
This year’s theme "Planting Trees, Growing Together" highlights the deep connection between trees, people, and the environment, emphasising how tree planting fosters stronger communities, promotes sustainability, and prepares us for a changing climate.
