NOTICE is hereby given that Tipperary County Council has made an Order closing:

ROAD TO
BE CLOSED: R676 New St., Carrick-on-Suir from the junction with L2707 William St, to the junction with L6715 Castle St
PERIOD OF
CLOSURE: Nightly from 19:00hrs on the 07 July 2025 to 06:00hrs on the 18 July 2025.
ALTERNATIVE
ROUTES: For all HGV’s travelling East to West, Diversions will be detailed and signed along the N24 and R680 from Fiddown. The New St. Junction with N24, the alternate route will be along the N24 to Kilsheelan and back on the R680 to Dillon Bridge.
For all HGV’s travelling from West to East, Diversions will be detailed and signed along the N24 & R680 from Kilsheelan. The New St. Junction with the N24, the alternate route will be along the the N24 to Fiddown and back on the R680 to Dillon Bridge. For local traffic, not exceeding 3.5t, the diversion route will be along the N24 Westward to North Quay and back along North Quay to Castle Lane/Callanans lane and on to Castle Street
REASON FOR CLOSURE: Repair/replacement of water main and all associated works, including reinstatement of carriageway, footway& verges where required

NOTICE is hereby given that Tipperary County Council proposes to make an Order closing:

ROAD TO
BE CLOSED (i) L-2601 at Faugheen From the Junction of L-26014 at Newtown Lower to the Junction at L-6601.
(ii) L-6601 at Ballinurra from the junction of L-2601 at Faugheen to the L-2605 at Cregg.

(iii) L-2605 at Cregg from the junction of L-6601 at Ballinurra to the junction L-2601 at Faugheen.
PERIOD OF
CLOSURE: 08:30hrs on Saturday 19 July 2025 to 18:30hrs on Saturday 19 July 2025.
ALTERNATIVE
ROUTES: Alternative Routes will be marshalled and signposted on the day of the event.
REASON FOR CLOSURE: To facilitate the Carrick Rally Sprint 2025

BE CLOSED: The R-697 at XL156 Level Crossing, Cregg Road, Carrick-on-Suir, Co. Tipperary.
PERIOD OF
CLOSURE: 08:30hrs on Saturday 12 July 2025 to 17:00hrs on Tuesday 15 July 2025.
ALTERNATIVE
ROUTES: Traffic travelling in the southbound direction will be diverted via the L-2607 at Cregg, turning left onto the L-2605-2.
Traffic travelling the northbound direction will be diverted via the L-2601 at Poulmaleen, then turning left onto the R-696.
REASON FOR CLOSURE: To facilitate upgrade works to at the XL156 Level Crossing.
