Nenagh Municipal District road update

Nenagh MD update:

Deep snow lying in area extending from Dolla, Silvermines, Newport, Kilcommon, and Templederry.

Extreme caution required on R497 and R500 where only one lane is passable for extended lengths.

Local Primary Road from Newport to Shallee Cross via Ballinahinch is not passable for cars. Road surface covered by snow, slush, and water.

Overnight low temperatures will result in extensive black ice. There are steep gradients on the road, which will create hazardous driving conditions.

Most local secondary and tertiary roads are still covered in snow and not passable for cars.
