DECISION TO EXTEND THE CLOSURE ON THE L-2108 BOULAKEALE/ARDRAGH, THE COMMONS, BALLINGARRY, CO. TIPPERARY.

NOTICE is hereby given that Tipperary County Council has made an Order closing:

ROAD TO
BE CLOSED: L-2108 Boulakeale/Ardragh, The Commons, Ballingarry, Co Tipperary.
PERIOD OF
CLOSURE: 00:00hrs on Thursday 10 April 2025 to 23:59hrs on Friday 27 June 2025.
ALTERNATIVE
ROUTES: Traffic travelling from Kilmanagh towards The Commons to be diverted right at Killeen onto the L-5021 continuing straight to the T-junction at Boggan. Traffic is to turn left at the T-junction along the L-1005 to fork in the road. Traffic is to keep left and travel along the L-2105 to T-junction at Garransilly. Traffic is to turn right onto the L-2106 and then turn left at the cross roads onto the L-2107 heading for Garrancool. At the crossroads traffic are to turn left onto the L-6121 and travel to the Farranrory Junction with L-6124. Traffic diversion will operate vice versa.
REASON FOR CLOSURE: To facilitate the installation of underground grid connection.

INTENTION TO CLOSE THE L4306 THOMASTOWN TO BANSHA, CO.TIPPERARY
NOTICE is hereby given that Tipperary County Council proposes to make an Order closing:

ROAD TO
BE CLOSED L4306, Thomastown to Bansha Road, from its junction with L8310 (Rathduff), to it’s junction with L4209 (at Aughnagawer Cross Roads).
PERIOD OF
CLOSURE: 07:30hrs on Monday 30 June 2025 to 18:00hrs on Sunday 03 August 2025.
ALTERNATIVE
ROUTES: Bansha bound traffic diverts North on L4306 to N74,
turning Left to travel Westbound as far as
the L4209 Knockballynoe East, then south to
Aughnagawer Cross.

Thomastown bound traffic diverts North on the
L4209 Konckballynoe East to the junction
with the N74, then turn right to travel Eastbound on the N74 through
Thomastown to the L4306, then South to the
L8310 (Rathduff)
REASON FOR CLOSURE: To facilitate Repair/replacement of water main and all associated works, including reinstatement of carriageway & verges where required

Objections to the proposed temporary closure may be submitted in writing to Road Closures, Roads & Transportation, Tipperary County Council, Civic Offices, Limerick Road, Nenagh, Co. Tipperary not later than 12 noon on Thursday 05 June 2025 or by e-mail to roadclosures@tipperarycoco.ie
