Decision To Close The R-697 At Xl156 Level Crossing, Cregg Road, Carrick-On-Suir, Co. Tipperary.

NOTICE is hereby given that Tipperary County Council has made an Order closing:

ROAD TO
BE CLOSED: The R-697 at XL156 Level Crossing, Cregg Road, Carrick-on-Suir, Co. Tipperary.
PERIOD OF
CLOSURE: 08:30hrs on Saturday 12 July 2025 to 17:00hrs on Tuesday 15 July 2025.
ALTERNATIVE
ROUTES: Traffic travelling in the southbound direction will be diverted via the L-2607 at Cregg, turning left onto the L-2605-2.
Traffic travelling the northbound direction will be diverted via the L-2601 at Poulmaleen, then turning left onto the R-696.
REASON FOR CLOSURE: To facilitate upgrade works to at the XL156 Level Crossing.

Temporary Traffic Management on the L-6602-0 Ardbane- Raheen, Co.Tipperary.
From 26 June 2025 to the 27 June 2025.
Local access will be maintained and Diversions will be in place as the works progress.

NOTICE is hereby given that Tipperary County Council has made an Order closing:

BE CLOSED: L-4201 Emmett Street and Thomond Road, Thurles, Co. Tipperary
PERIOD OF
CLOSURE: 00:00hrs on Saturday 05 July 2025 to 00:00hrs on Monday 07 July 2025.
ALTERNATIVE
ROUTES: Traffic travelling north on the N62 will be diverted to Liberty Square to join the N75 east and continue their journey
Traffic Travelling west on the N75 will be diverted into Liberty Square turning left onto the N62 and continue their journey.
REASON FOR CLOSURE: To facilitate pedestrian access to Liberty Music Festival.
