NOTICE is hereby given that Tipperary County Council has made an Order closing:

ROAD TO
BE CLOSED Phased closures of the R497 & R503 at Knockmaroe Junction, Kilcommon, Co. Tipperary.
PERIOD OF
CLOSURE: 07:00hrs on Monday 18 September 2023 to 19:00hrs on Friday 22 September 2023.
ALTERNATIVE
ROUTES: R503 West Bound:
From Thurles to Limerick: via R498 to Nenagh and M7 to Limerick.
From Milestone to Kilcommon: south via R497 and L1152 to Boulanunane and north to the R503 at Loughbrack via L5108.
R503 East Bound:
From Kilcommon to Thurles: via L2266 to Reiska, R497 to Dolla, R499 to Ballinamona and R498 to Thurles.
R497 North & South Bound:
Via R503 to McCormack’s Cross and L2266 to Kilcommon and Reiska and vice versa.
REASON FOR CLOSURE: To facilitate the installation of Hot Rolled Asphalt as part of the upgrade to the R503/ R497 Junction Knockmaroe, Kilcommon, Co.Tipperary

ROAD TO
BE CLOSED The R489 Curraghglass,Lorrha,Co.Tipperary
PERIOD OF
CLOSURE: 07:00hrs on Wednesday 20 September 2023 to 19:00hrs on Friday 22 September 2022.
ALTERNATIVE
ROUTES: West Bound: Divert south, via R438, at the junction of the R489 / R438 (Walshpark Cross) to the junction of R438 / N65 at Derrinvohil and north via the N65.

East Bound: Divert south, via N65, at the junction of the N65 /R489 (The Ferry) to the junction of the N65 / R438 at Derrinvohil and north via the R438.

REASON FOR CLOSURE: To facilitate Road Resurfacing

Decision To Close Junction 11 And 12 On The M8 Motorway Co.Tipperary And The N24 Between The Knockagh Roundabout And The New Inn Roundabout, Co. Tipperary

NOTICE is hereby given that Tipperary County Council has made an Order closing:
ROAD TO
BE CLOSED: The M8 Motorway Southbound carriageway between Junctions 11 and 12, Tincurry and Kilbeheny
PERIOD OF CLOSURE: Between 04:00 and 16:00 on the 13th and the 18th of September. ALTERNATIVE
ROUTES:

Diversion via the R639 road between Junction 11 Tincurry and Junction 12 Kilbeheny

ROAD TO
BE CLOSED: The Southbound on-slip and merge lane on the M8 Motorway in Junction 10 Cahir PERIOD OF CLOSURE: Between 10:00 and 19:00 daily on the 11th, 12th, 13th and 14th of September. ALTERNATIVE
ROUTES:
Diversion via the R639 road between Junction 10 Cahir and Junction 11 Tincurry.

ROAD TO
BE CLOSED: N24 Waterford to Limerick road between the Knockagh roundabout and the New Inn Roundabout in the Westbound (Limerick) direction PERIOD OF CLOSURE: Between 19:00 and 06:00 daily on the 18th, 19th and 20th of September. ALTERNATIVE
ROUTES:
Diversion through Cahir town on the R640 and Mitchelstown Road onto the R639 towards New Inn.
REASON FOR CLOSURE: To facilitate road works.
