TEMPORARY CLOSING OF ROAD
ROADS ACT, 1993-2015,
(SECTION 75 OF THE ROADS ACT 1993)

INTENTION TO CLOSE ROADS FOR THE
BOSTON SCIENTIFIC HALF MARATHON
NOTICE is hereby given that Tipperary County Council proposes to
make an Order closing:
ROAD TO
|
• Emmet Street L-3606 (Garda station up around by the Post Office) 10.30 to 12.00. • Market Street R-884-6 (from Gladstone Street leading onto Emmet Street) – 10.30 to 12.00. • Richmond Road L-3606-1 (at the side of the Post Office) – 10.30 to 12.00. • College Avenue L-3622-1 – 10.30 to 12.00. • Dillon Street R-707-5 (from the Crescent junction to the small roundabout on the Waterford road) – 10.30 to 12.00. • St Thomas’s Bridge L-6513 – 10.00 to 11.30. |

ALTERNATIVE
|
• Traffic will be stopped at Kickham Street L-3609 to avoid getting onto Richmond Road L-3606-1. • Traffic will be stopped at the top of Gladstone Street R-688 by the Church and directed through the carpark to avoid going down and trying to turn onto Market Street R-884-6 and therefore Emmet Street L-3606. This will also mean no traffic on Parnell Street R-884. • Traffic diverted from Dillon Street R-707-5 will be able to go through the Ard Na Greine L-3601/ O’ Raihlly Ave L-7602 Road estates. |

Tipperary County Council, Civic Offices, Limerick Road, Nenagh,
Co. Tipperary not later than 12 noon on Thursday 09 July 2026 or
