NOTICE is hereby given that Tipperary County Council has made an Order closing:

BE CLOSED: The L-2708-1 Bridge Street From R885 To Strand Lane, Carrick On Suir, Co.Tipperary
PERIOD OF
CLOSURE: 08:00hrs on Monday 11 September 2023 to 18:00hrs on Friday 22 September 2023.
ALTERNATIVE
ROUTES: Traffic travelling along main street R-885 are to be diverted along the R-885 through West Gate and along Greystone Street to the N24, at the roundabout they are to continue straight to the Suir-side Junction and turn left onto the L-6712-1 and travel along North Quay to Bridge street junction.
REASON FOR CLOSURE: To facilitate the laying of the new duct as part of the National Broadband Project

Temporary Traffic Management on the R-678 Mountain Road,Clonmel,Co.Tipperary.

The R-678 will be closed from Harneys Cross to the Loretto Convent in Clonmel, Co.Tipperary 

The road will be closed during the following times to facilitate the funerals of Luke and Grace McSweeney.

Wednesday the 30th of August 2023 from 14.45hrs to 22.00hrs. 

Thursday the 31st of August 2023 from 14.45hrs to 22.00hrs.

Friday the 01st of September 2023 from 09.00hrs to 12.00hrs.

Diversions will be in place. Expect Delays. Local access will be facilitated.

BE CLOSED: Closure 1: Lakeside Drive, Ballina, Including parking spaces adjacent to Flanagan’s on the Lake
The L-6090-0 and L-6092-0

Closure 2: Graves of the Leinster Men, Ballina, Road from Derrybeg to Cooneen
The L-2134-0, L-6038 and partial closure on the L-6037-0.

From 06:00hrs to 18:00hrs on Saturday 09 September 2023.
Closure 2: Graves of the Leinster Men Road

R494-22, full access to the Lakeside hotel will be available via the L-6092-0 from 11.00hrs onwards.
Closure 2: Graves of the Leinster Men Road
Traffic will be diverted via the main R494-13.
REASON FOR CLOSURE: To facilitate the Quest Lough Derg Event.

NOTICE is hereby given that Tipperary County Council has made an Order closing :

PERIOD OF
CLOSURE: 08.00hrs Monday the 28th of August 2023 to 19.00hrs on Friday the 13th of October 2023
ALTERNATIVE
ROUTES: Coming from Grenan divert by the L2265-18 to the R498-115 and travel northwards towards Templederry village.

From the Templederry Village divert by the L2261-0 towards Currababa Cross and the R498-123 and travel southwards towards the L2265-18 at Glenanoge.
REASON FOR CLOSURE: Matter of Urgency, Due to deterioration of the bridge at this location, this decision has been made for the safety of the road user.
