NOTICE OF SIGNIFICANT FURTHER INFORMATION
Pursuant to the requirements of Section 177 AE (5)(d) of the Planning and Development Act 2000 (as amended) Tipperary County Council have submitted significant further information to An Coimisiún Pleanála in relation to the following development at Clare Glens Woodlands and Looped Walk, Clare Glens, Newport, Co. Tipperary:

The proposed project involves upgrading the existing walking path within the Clare Glens Amenity space. This includes, but is not limited to, the construction of new vehicular and pedestrian access points and the integration of a designated emergency staging area. Upgrade to an existing foot bridge and installation of two viewing platforms with fencing. Construct circa 250m of new path. Upgrade to the existing path in the form of, widening to 1.8m in width along its entire length. Drainage Remediation where required and all associated site works. The footprint of the proposed project is within a Special Area of Conservation, namely Clare Glen SAC – 000930 |

Significant further information has been submitted and will be available for inspection, free of charge, at Nenagh Municipal District Offices, Tipperary County Council, Civic Offices, Limerick Road, Nenagh, Co. Tipperary between the hours of 9:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday to Friday (excluding Public Holidays) for a period from Wednesday 3rd June 2026 to Friday 26th June 2026. A copy may be purchased at a fee not exceeding the reasonable cost of making a copy.
Submissions and observations in relation to the further information may be made in writing within the period specified above to The Secretary, An Coimisiún Pleanála, 64 Marlborough Street, Dublin 1 not later than the 26th June 2026.
