Local authorities may provide financial support to community and voluntary groups and anyone involved in the arts, culture, heritage and language sectors to develop projects to improve access to, and appreciation of, the arts, culture and creativity.

Creative Ireland Strategy 2023- 2027

The Tipperary Culture and Creativity Strategy 2023–2027 has been published. Over the past five years the Creative Ireland programme has supported groups and organisations right across the county in activating and supporting creativity in our communities.

This strategy allows our Tipperary County Council to look broadly at creative endeavour and community and identifies strategic priorities for the coming years. Tipperary County Council looks forward to the collaborations and initiatives that will evolve throughout this process and to seeing the implementation of the plan over the next five years

Community Grant Scheme 2026

We are delighted to be in a position again this year to invite applications from eligible groups for support to host cultural projects in line with the strategic priorities below. We welcome applications from community groups and not for profit organisations, arts, heritage and cultural groups, venues and societies. Applications by individuals must be in partnership with a community, cultural or heritage group. Please read the guidelines attached below carefully, prior to filling out an application form.

Tipperary Creative Ireland Project Award 2026

We are delighted to be in a position again this year to invite applications from eligible individuals for support between €3,500 - 15,000. for creative projects in line with the strategic priorities below. The overall aim of this scheme is to instigate high quality cultural and collaborative projects which involve a community/ group or clearly benefit the wider community. This project award should encourage new, ambitious and meaningful collaborations between creators/practitioners and communities.
